Died very unexpectedly from heart complications at Mayday Hospital.
They say time is a great healer and I suppose that is true, but the hurt never really goes away. My mum lost her partner and best friend and me and my brother lost our dad and our best friend. We all feel cheated by his early passing, he truely was the best dad you could ever ask for and a great friend to all that knew him. I think about him every day and he is missed every single minute of every single day. I wish I'd had a chance to tell how much I loved him, I hope he knows. I wish my son (who is four years old) had had a chance to meet him, I know that they would have been inseparable had he been here. I guess he's watching over us all from wherever he is......
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes they watched you
and saw you pass away
and although they love you dearly
they could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke there hearts to prove us
he only takes the best

I never knew they made angels like this...
I never knew they made angels like this... with a wicked sense of humour yet a heart of true true gold. A lad to the end yet a devoted husband and father. A man that showed you can enjoy your life with every opportunity yet live it with principles, friendship and faith. There are so few like Ray and I'm one of the lucky ones to have met, known and shared a bit of the life of Ray.
